Take a Deep Breath…

Filed under: Site News — Beth @ 4:37 pm

… and join me as I document my obsession with recipes, restaurants, chefs, food blogs, cookbooks, and my daily quest for the perfect bite of food.

Buddhists would, of course, recommend moderation in all things, especially when it comes to sustenance for the body. But to my mind, there’s no room for temperance when there are restaurants like Nobu in the world. Who can remain calm while they savor a bar of organic 73% super dark chocolate? Sorry, but I just can’t remain modest and level-headed when I create a dish that tastes exactly as I had hoped it would.

But since you’re here, I bet I’m preaching to the choir. If you are excited about food, I hope you’ll come along as I create this food blog and share my culinary adventures with a bunch of similary-focused strangers.

Namasté and Bon Appetít!

  4. Beth–

I like the title and your philosophy about food (deserving silence and full attention). It’s great to find another blog about food here in San Diego. Can’t wait to read more!
