What? Me Sick?

Filed under: Personal Meditations — Beth @ 9:51 am

My kitchen is unfortunately on New-Recipe-Hiatus right now due to its only chef (me!) coming down with something. I swear I can’t remember the last time I was sick. But my throat’s killing me and I’m all achy and I’m ditching work tomorrow, so that means I’m out of commission.

I did make some of my mother-in-law Letty’s famous Matzoh Ball Soup tonight. Once you get the hang of it, it’s such an easy dish to make and of course so comforting when you need a little TLC. There’s a reason why they call it the “Jewish Penicillin.” I had two huge bowls tonight, so hopefully the old family recipe will work its magic ASAP!

I’ve also been drinking Airborne like nobody’s business and pounding Odwalla 100% Orange Juice at every turn.

So, think of me, dear readers as you cook and do dishes and continue with your normal routine. Being sick sucks.
