Venissimo used to be my first destination for cheese platters however before christmas a found a charming euro-cheese shop located in downtown La Jolla. Definately stroll by, you can sample anything and they have awesome soup. The Address is THE WINE AND CHEESE SHOP LA JOLLA

We recently had Gina from Venissimo come to our winery and give a presentation on wine and cheese pairing. She brought some lovely cheese that she had selected to go perfectly with some of our wines. A great evening for all who attended!

yum… venissimo is on my list of places to go!
In regards to your more recent post…. a freind was just telling me of a place downtown that has asian-fusion type food called the Red Pearl or something like that…. he said it was really good and really cheap! On J St I think.
How did your acupuncture treatment go??

I’m drooling. Wow. I’m impressed with your dedication to cheese. If I could eat five types of cheese a day I would. Sounds like you two actually are! Hope he had a great birthday. We should all get together some time and have a cheese tasting!

Venissimo is wonderful. Hubby has to sit in the car and wait, though, as it’s quite stinky in that tiny store!
