Love is to Zen as sunlight is to life.
One cannot exist without the other. Love thy self, love another, love life. Experience life by learning to love.
A tree is life, but it does not live life. A tree exists. It is, and only is, because of the sun. Without it, the tree would cease to exist, as would life. A tree has no free will or spirit, yet understanding the tree leads to understanding ones self, and ultimately, enlightenment.
People are created to love. True love is not forced, but is given and experienced. It is appreciated and it affirms ones self.
To love is to share.
Sharing love is understanding. It is implicit. To view it and understand, one must have experienced it, without understanding, enlightenment is not possible.
Giving in love is giving in life. Intimacy is shared, as well as given.
Jewelry is cheap, true worth is determined through actions not gifts. Value is a perception, and a perception is often not shared. If to love is to share, then does that mean that there is no value in love? Perhaps not all things are equal, after all, a perception is not often shared…
Life and time are intimately linked. Without time there is no life value. Without life there is no reason for time.
Love is valued to those that experience love. Perception is only one view, paradigms shift. To understand, appreciate and share love fully, is to be complete.
